Message from Simone Clarke, Chief Executive Officer, UN Women Australia

It was an absolute pleasure being part of the Women in Leadership Summit in November, 2022.

Personally, I loved the opportunity to make new connections and hear stories of resilience and shared experience. It highlighted the importance of mentoring and championing the next generation of young women and girls. Thank you to all those who attended and supported UN Women Australia. Your contributions, via ticket sales, will support UN Women’s programs and initiatives, changing the lives women and girls around the world.

We invite you to continue to be part of change. Join us on Friday 3 March 2023 to celebrate International Women’s Day. UN Women Australia holds the pre-eminent IWD events around the country and virtually. It is a day of celebration and action as we recognise the achievements of women everywhere and highlight the work that still needs to be done. The IWD 2023 theme is Cracking the Code: Innovation for a gender equal future. To buy tickets and for more information visit International Women’s Day | Get Involved | UN Women Australia

We all have the power to play an important part in advancing gender equality for women and girls everywhere.
